What Happens During a Roof Rejuvenation Treatment?
If you've never had a roof treated, here's exactly what the process looks like from the driveway.
Step 1 — Assessment
Before anything is scheduled, we inspect the roof: shingle flexibility, granule coverage, adhesion, flashing, valleys, penetrations and visible deck condition. You get a plain-language read on whether the roof qualifies.
Step 2 — Qualification decision
If it qualifies, we provide a written recommendation and estimate. If it doesn't, we explain why and can refer you to a roofing contractor for repair or replacement. Roughly speaking, this step exists so the treatment step only happens on roofs where it will actually help.
Step 3 — Preparation
The roof is cleared of debris and, where needed, treated for moss or organic growth. Landscaping, siding and adjacent surfaces are protected. Preparation quality has a direct effect on how well the treatment performs.
Step 4 — Application
The rejuvenation product is applied evenly across qualifying roof planes using the manufacturer's specified method and coverage rate. Most residential roofs are completed in a single visit, weather permitting — treatment requires dry conditions and appropriate temperatures.
Step 5 — Walkthrough and documentation
We clean up the site, review what was done, and provide your documentation including product warranty details. You'll know what was applied, where, and what the manufacturer covers.
