About Maine Roof Rejuvenation

We do one thing: determine whether an aging asphalt shingle roof can be rejuvenated instead of replaced — and say so honestly either way.

Why we exist

Across Portland & Southern Maine there are thousands of roofs that look finished but aren't. Maine's freeze/thaw cycling, snow load, coastal salt air and summer UV dry out asphalt shingles years before the roof structure has a problem. Homeowners see fading, granules in the gutter and a curling edge, get a replacement quote, and assume that's that.

Sometimes it is. Often it isn't. We exist to make sure someone actually checks before a serviceable roof comes off a house.

How we work

  • Free, no-obligation assessments across Greater Portland and Southern Maine
  • A written qualification decision with the reasoning behind it
  • Estimates you can compare directly against a replacement quote
  • Referrals to trusted local roofers when replacement is the right answer
  • No high-pressure sales, no same-day-discount tactics, no phone quotes

What we won't do

We won't treat a roof that can't benefit from treatment. A roof with an active leak, exposed mat, soft decking or widespread cracking needs a roofer, not us — and taking that job would produce an unhappy homeowner and a roof that still has to come off.

We also won't make performance claims we can't substantiate. Warranty and longevity terms come from the product manufacturer, in writing, and we review them with you before anything is scheduled.

Local and accountable

We're locally owned and operated, licensed and insured, and we work exclusively in Portland & Southern Maine. You'll deal with the people who assessed your roof, and you can reach us at (207) 555-0142 or hello@maineroofrejuvenation.com.

See if your roof qualifies

Six quick questions about your roof, and an honest read on whether rejuvenation is likely to be a fit for it.

2-minute self-check

Answer six questions from the ground.

This won't replace an on-roof inspection, but your answers shape the recommendation you'll get at the end — including when rejuvenation isn't the right call. "Not sure" is a fine answer.

  1. 1.Is your roof roughly 8–25 years old?

  2. 2.Do you have any active leaks or interior water stains?

  3. 3.Are there shingles missing, cracked through, or hard-curled in sections?

  4. 4.Do you see granules collecting in gutters, or fading and dry-looking shingles?

  5. 5.Do any roof planes sag, or does the decking feel soft?

  6. 6.Does the roof have more than one layer of shingles?

Before you replace — see if you qualify.

A free roof assessment tells you whether your asphalt shingles still have serviceable life. If they don't, we'll say so and point you to a roofer we trust.
