Roof replacement referrals
We don't install roofs. When yours needs one, the most useful thing we can do is point you at someone who does it well.
How a referral works
If your assessment concludes that replacement or repair is the right course, we'll say so in writing and offer to connect you with a local roofing contractor. You keep control of the conversation from there — we make an introduction, not a commitment on your behalf.
What we look for in a roofer
- Licensed and insured, with documentation provided on request
- Established locally in Greater Portland or Southern Maine
- Written, itemised quotes rather than verbal ballparks
- Clear explanations of decking, underlayment, ice-and-water shield and ventilation
- A verifiable review history and references from nearby projects
Get more than one quote
Even with a referral, we'd encourage two or three quotes on a job of this size. Compare scope, not just price: what's included for decking repair, ice-and-water shield coverage, flashing replacement and ventilation work often explains most of the difference between bids.
No fees, no pressure
Referrals cost you nothing, and you're free to hire whoever you like — including someone we've never heard of. Our interest is simply that homeowners across Portland & Southern Maine end up with the right work done at a fair price.
