Rejuvenation is priced by roof, not by category
There is no flat statewide price for roof rejuvenation, and any company quoting you one over the phone hasn't looked at your roof. Pricing is built from the measurable characteristics of your specific roof and the work required to treat it properly.

- Complexity — dormers, valleys, chimneys and penetrations add labor
- Access — tight lots, landscaping and height affect staging

Why it costs less than replacement
A full replacement involves tearing off and disposing of the existing shingles, inspecting and repairing decking, installing underlayment, ice and water shield, new flashing and new shingles, plus dumpster and disposal fees. That's a multi-day project with substantial material and waste costs.
Rejuvenation keeps your existing shingles in place. There's no tear-off, no dumpster, no decking work and no material replacement. The work is typically completed in a single visit. Those structural differences are why the cost gap is significant rather than marginal.
The comparison that actually matters
The useful comparison isn't rejuvenation versus replacement in the abstract — it's rejuvenation now versus replacement now on your roof. If your shingles qualify, treatment can let you defer a large capital expense while the roof continues doing its job. If they don't qualify, treatment is money spent on a roof that still needs to come off, which is why we decline those jobs.
